4 Low-Carb Dessert Recipes to Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth

by Cristina Powell

Low-Carb Dessert Recipes
The first person to decide to serve dessert at the end of the meal must have been born without the genetic variant receptor that contains a protein called T1R3. That is, they were born with a savory tooth as opposed to a sweet tooth.
I, apparently, got blessed with T1R3 and thus have a strong sweet tooth. Which used to mean cake was off the menu! (In other words, don’t even get me started!)
After all, when folks think of low carbohydrate, they think lean protein and vegetables. It’s not often you find low carbohydrate and dessert in the same sentence—especially not cake.
Until now.
The following low-carb dessert recipes are tried and true BioTrust® kitchen cake creations, and once you give these healthier versions of your favorite desserts a try, you will never look at your old recipes the same again. In fact, you may never look at them again at all once you enjoy these low-carb dessert recipes!
